Our Mission

 

Our mission at Mindful Hearts is to empower and support Teachers, parents and alike to build their emotional capacity, self awareness and build a tool box of evidence based strategies to help create more calm and connection in the every day. In turn, helping children to become confident and capable to thrive.


 Early learning plays a crucial role in fostering emotional growth in children. By incorporating mindfulness for children into educational settings, we can enhance their overall development. Mindfulness programs focused on young learners not only support their emotional well-being but also contribute to school readiness, equipping them with essential skills for their future. 


At Mindful Hearts Education, We support and empower the whole family through integrative mindfulness and meditation as well as education and courses. 


Mindful Hearts Education: 

We aim to nurture and empower children through play and exploration, fostering early learning and emotional growth. We believe that a strong emotional foundation is crucial for lifelong success and happiness. Our mindfulness programs are evidence-based and developmentally designed for the early years, ensuring school readiness. We provide parents and professionals with insights on incorporating mindfulness for children into simple and effective strategies.


You Matter too! 

 Mindful Hearts acknowledges that when mum is  calm and connected, so are children. We cater for mums who are looking for more calm in their day through integrative mindfulness and meditation in our mum hub, as well as individual and group meditation. 

About the Founder

 

Welcome to Mindful Hearts Education


My name is Olivia, the founder of Mindful Hearts.

I am a registered Early Childhood Teacher, Certified Integrative Mindfulness and meditation Teacher and mum of 2 sweet girls.


Through my Experience in Early Childhood Education, I noticed 2 things. One, Children always feed off the energy of the teacher. As the leader of the room, your energy and state matters. And secondly, that is really hard to achieve without the knowledge of how to be present and understand the nervous system. I was on the brink of burn out when I welcomed my first daughter into the world and that's when it all clicked for me. I need to priorities me first.

So, I began to make it my mission to learn all I could, study and become a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher. Among other things, that help me to understand the changes that can be made that make the biggest difference.

Teachers are becoming more and more burnt out every day.

The reality is, the system isn't changing any time soon. We need to empower ourselves, dig deep and look within to build strong and practical wellbeing strategies that form a strong foundation.

Now I am here to guide you. The burnt out, teacher, therapist, parent.
